Letter from the Administrator
It is with a heavy heart and teary eyes I am announcing my departure from Norwalk Nursing and Rehab starting on January 3rd. These last 2 plus years have been nothing short of amazing and I could not have asked for a better experience helping lead this building. If it were not for me moving to Colorado to be close with my mom, I would without a second doubt stay at this facility. I know in my heart I will never find another community like this one and I am so blessed to be able to say I was a part of such a phenomenal team. The memories and relationships I made here I will hold near and dear to my heart.
Norwalk Nursing and Rehab is really unlike any other community I have seen or been a part of. When I say it is a family-like atmosphere, I really mean it. Not being from Iowa and not having family here… my work family was my family. I know I could call them if I was ever in need and they would be there in a heartbeat. Whenever I say I am/was the administrator at Norwalk, I feel SO proud and I want everyone around me to know that. I had the privilege of working next to some of the best humans I know and y’all have set the bar VERY high for my future staff. The residents and the staff are really the cream of the crop and I hope they truly believe that. Maisy, Memphis, and myself, will miss every single person who makes Norwalk so great. Everyone has left a lasting impression on us and I only hope we did the same. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of y’alls family. It means more to us than you know.
Kennedy Naquin – LNFA, Administrator
